Ne-Yo Charlotte Concert reviews
It was good but could be better.
The prices for the food and other activities were ridiculous, with $10 for parking, $12 for cotton candy, and $8 for a pony ride being too much. Charging a 2 year old almost full price is not reasonable, especially since they sit in their parents lap most of the time and their attention span is short. Kids 3 and under should get 50% off tickets. Some acts, like the African guy dancers who were a bit boring and the Asian acrobats that kept dropping their formations and not catching their flyers properly, need to work on execution and creativity. However, the motorcyclists, the three black girl acrobats, and the elephant act were great. The lions were only used for a magic trick, which didn't make sense, but they were beautiful to see for a short moment. I will go again but probably sit up higher so I'm not blocked by workers who stand in front of the seats watching the show instead of working. Workers shouldn't be eating elephant ears and hanging out when they are on duty. Safety needs to be improved for changing from one act to the next, as several people almost tripped over the wire lines that were being hooked up across the walkway.
